Our firm is one of the market leaders in providing legal advice on all aspects of shipbuilding and off-shore construction. The projects range from construction of new tonnage for carrying general cargo, bulk or containers to FPSO’s, oil rigs and yachts of any kind. Our firm represents owners, financial institutions, shipyards and sub-contractors, suppliers and off-shore contractors in all of the shipbuilding sectors to handle any of the problems throughout a construction or conversion project, which may lead to some times lengthy litigation or arbitration, due to an inappropriate contract with ambiguities and gaps leading to cost overruns and delays. We have a vast experience in drafting such contracts in order to avoid these problems, but in case litigation becomes inevitable, we will guide you through it, whether before a State Court of law, or in arbitration or in mediation proceedings.
